Sean & Leigh were both born in Lewiston, New York.

A beautiful, historic Village 7 miles North of Niagara Falls and right across the border from Canada. Lewiston is nestled right on the Niagara River and tucked away from the rest of the world. Driving into town you descend a large escarpment, pull off the exit, and all of a sudden you are in the tiny town from “It’s a Wonderful Life”

This quaint little pocket of pleasantries is also the home of one of WNY’s primer concert venues, Artpark.

An outdoor stage backed up to the edge of the American border, overlooking an ironically sobering view of the River. Every Tuesday and Wednesday night in the summer Artpark hosts huge concerts for the most legendary names in music, top selling modern acts, and the best local talent. (Including TripHackersPodcast’s own Sean Thurman)

Every other day of the week, Lewiston maintains it’s small town comfort and small town culture. It evokes the image of a Thomas Kinkade painting with a Bar’s “Open” sign constantly glowing in the background.

After living two separate lives, Sean & Leigh moved back to their simple hometown. Met each other, and started a Podcast about leaving.

Who are Sean & Leigh?

Sean is a musician, writer and podcaster. He is the founder of the THURMOPOLIS Podcast Network and Producer/Co-host of the Trip Hackers Podcast and the top rated comedy show, The THURMAN & LALA Podcast. Sean has also been a guitarist in several WNY bands including MIKANECHO, a regular on the Buffalo Music Scene.

Leigh is an anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist funding investigator. She is a master in the art of finance and over all life hacking. Leigh loves making her own organic body butters, salt scrubs, chap stick, cleaning products and more.

Sean & Leigh currently reside in Lewiston, NY with their cat, Mat, and their two chickens, Cluck Norris and Feather Locklear. They love podcasts & traveling for cheap so they started Trip Hackers Podcast to share their stories with whoever is willing to listen.
