Sarah, I think the Capital One Venture Rewards Card is solid. What I consider; is the sign up bonus ENOUGH for (at least) a round trip ticket to my desired destination or several nights stay there? I NEVER want to cover a points gap even at 2 points for every dollar spent. Chase Ultimate Rewards and it’s travel partners allows you to pool bonuses from multiple sources – more points means more options.

Citi Prestige card too.

I’ve heard that Chase is going to launch a new Sapphire Reserve/Elite card in August 2016 and that it’ll have a 100,000 Ultimate Rewards point sign up bonus. Probably a big annual fee though too.
